MOSCOW, Feb 22 (PRIME) -- The net profit of Russian power utility Unipro plummeted by 40.1% on the year to 8.2 billion rubles in 2021, as calculated under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the company said in a report on Tuesday.
Revenue under contracts with customers grew by 17% to 88.1 billion rubles, but the pretax profit shrank by 39.6% to 10.29 billion rubles.
Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) rose by 14.1% to 30.1 billion rubles.
In 2022, the company expects its EBIDA to grow to 34–36 billion rubles, Unipro said in a presentation.
